Good: Was nice & quiet. Food was great, they forgot the gravy with the crumbed chicken but was delicious. The Sticky date pudding was the best I've tasted. Thank you

Bad: There were black ants on the bench when we got up but did'nt affect anything.

Favourite place to stay

We enjoyed another stay at the Balaclava Hotel .Always spotless and quiet .Staff friendly as usual .Handy to bistro so no having to go outside hotel at night for a meal.

New Years Eve accommodation

Motel style. One of the very few remaining affordable accommodations on NYE. Check in was fast and easy. Bed was very comfortable but flies and ants could be seen in room. Possible due to the wet weather on the day.

Otherwise great location convenient and comfortable

Bad: Only the cleaners letting doors bang loudly at 4am

Good: The staff we sensational with their support. Our key card wouldn’t work but they shouted our dinner and made sure everything was OK. Couldn’t recommend more!

Bad: The noise from the other people staying there. Loud voices at 11pm at night.

Good: Loved how clean and comfy this property was. So close to DFO and main stream shopping centre. I liked how this was out of the city. The facilities were faultless and staff were great and friendly. I would stay here again.
