Good: There are not many options on the upper North Shore. Most are overpriced and poorly maintained. Nightcap is newly renovated, spotlessly clean with some nice Art Deco touches. Rain shower is hot, towels are soft and there are tea and coffee facilities as well as onsite parking.

Good: Was in an excellent location to catch up with family. The staff were extremely helpfull. Everything was clean and tidy.

Bad: There was nothing that we didn't like. Everything met our expectations.

Value comfort and convenience

Good: The accommodation renovations have completely changed what was a tired and old pub. From the large comfortable bed, through to the spacious en suite, all changes have worked very well.

Good: I like that there is a bath option in the bathroom, you can cook your own food or go down and get a Good meal. I love the washing and drying facilities so a traveller can easily get that done.
