Glenelg Beach, Adelaide SA
Glenelg is closest to the CBD, so naturally the most bustling of the beaches nearby. You can walk along the foreshore, check out boutique shops and enjoy some quality people watching. Throw down the towel and soak up the sunshine while spotting dolphins cruising in the water.
Henley Beach
Henley Beach is next up the line and offers a sprawling stretch of sand perfect for lazing the day away. There are a number of restaurants to fuel up and re-hydrate. Like Glenelg, this is a great spot to post up, slip-slop-slap and bask in the sunshine while listening to the waves lap up on the shore.

If you’re after a bit more excitement by the water, head to Semaphore Beach. In addition to the beautiful sandy beach, there’s plenty of fun in the sun with a waterslide, mini golf and ferris wheel as part of the lively foreshore. After a tough day lounging by the beach, treat yourself to a spa treatment or massage. Go on, you’ve earned it!
