Beach, Wine or Caves? See it all when staying in Busselton

When you hit The Local Trail in WA, you'll start your journey 223 kilometres south of Perth with a one night stay in the popular coastal town of Busselton.

If the sun is shining (which it usually is), head straight into the water and marvel at the temperature. Stroll along the famous Busselton Jetty, but take your walking shoes; it’s 1.8 km long and is a sight to behold.

Margaret River Wine Region

You’ll be ideally located at the gateway to the Margaret River wine region, and after a 40 minute drive you’ll have your pick of some of Western Australia’s premier wineries, like Xanadu and Voyager.

Adventure Activities

If you’re looking for something a little more active to get the heart rate going, hire a bike and ride the trail from Busselton to Dunsborough. A half hour trip one way, you’ll ride along the coastline taking in the salty air and ocean views. Or head to the Ngilgi cave region and explore the history of the naturally formed underground chambers with a tour guide (we promise you’ll make it out in one piece).

Top it off with Nightcap!

End the day back at The Ship Inn where you can choose something delicious from the menu to fill your belly after a big day of adventuring. Choose a refreshing beer or a drop from one of the local wineries and sink into a King Koil bed for the night. As if the swimming pool and awesome Bistro/Bar wasn’t enough, each of our One Bedroom Apartments offers self catering accommodation in Busselton, Western Australia. You won’t want to leave (and you don’t have to)!

Once you’re up, buckle in, we’ve got a two and a half hour trip to the city of Perth.
